Where possible, design a series of concepts that can be derived from the same tooling shape.  Achieve the various animals/insects by molding different color materials and varying the post molding decorations.

Ensure the form factors are wide at the bottom and can assist to prevent a toddler from falling off the toy.

Provide hand holds.

Avoid the use of pink and blue to identify gender, however, include pink and blue along with other colors.

Concepts should be cartoon in look and feel.
